1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
6 cups (1.4L) water
¼ cup (60 ml) sour cream
¼ cup (60 ml) ketchup
1 to 1 ½ tsp salt
¼ cup (12 g) fresh parsley, chopped
¼ cup (12 g) fresh dill, chopped
For Mashed Potatoes
4 to 5 lbs (2.3 kg) Russet potatoes, peeled
2 to 3 tsp salt
1 cup (227 g) unsalted butter, cubed
