HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE RED BEEF TAMALES | STEP BY STEP |
Hello my beautiful family, Welcome Back in today’s video i will be showing you on how to make some yummy and delicious homemade red beef tamales. Perfect for the holidays 🙂 Hope you guys enjoy!
INGREDIENTS: (MADE 4 DOZENS)
~used a 20 quart steamer pot
10 lbs of Prepared masa for tamales
~ 1 tbsp of baking powered (optional) used to get fluffiness of masa
TO COOK MEAT:
8 lbs of chuck roast
1 whole onion
1 garlic head
4 bay leaves
1 tbsp of salt
water enough to cover meat
SAUCE:
16 oz of california chile
2 oz of guajillo
4 garlic cloves
10 whole black pepper corn
1/2 tsp of oregano
1/4 tsp of cumin seed
1 bay leave
1 1/2 tbsps of beef bouillon or chicken bouillon or to taste
~ To Simmer sauce add ground cumin to taste about 1/8 tsp (optional)
~ Separate 1 1/2 cup of sauce to add to masa
