NO OVEN Bread Recipe: How to Make The Softest Flatbread Pitas
Ingredients:
*Fresh Yeast 12g
*Sugar 10g
*Warm Water 175ml
*All-Purpose Flour 300g
*Salt 3g
*Olive Oil 20g
Hello everyone, I’m Foodie.
Today I’m going to teach you how to make extremely soft flatbread.
Put 12 grams of fresh yeast in a bowl. Or 4 grams of dry yeast.
10 g of sugar.
175 ml of warm water.
The temperature of the water shouldn’t exceed 40 °C.
Stir until yeast is dissolved.
Add 300 g of all-purpose flour.
3 grams of salt.
Mix with a spatula until there is almost no dry flour.
Knead the dough by hand for 2 minutes.
Add 20 g of olive oil to the dough.
Mix.
Cover and let the dough rise until 2.5 times in size.
Press to release the air.
Divide the dough into 6 equal parts.
Fold each portion of dough into a small ball.
Cover with cling film and let them rest for 10 minutes.
Roll with a rolling pin to flatten.
Place in a heated pan. Heat over medium heat.
Turn and flip occasionally.
Puffing up as a balloon like this means it’s cooked.
Cover with a cloth to prevent the surface of the bread from drying.
Add some chili powder and cumin to the olive oil or melted butter.
Mix and brush on the bread.
