Memorial Day is not only a special day to honor those who have lost their lives serving our country, but it is also a day for MAJOR sales on things we need like home appliances and especially Refrigerators. After spending a nice day with my girlfriends family, her mom presented me with 3 scratch off lottery tickets and told me to pick one. Out of the 3, i picked the winning ticket of the bunch…winning a whopping $4.
On the way home, my girlfriend and I thought to ourselves, “Is it possible to buy an entire roll of lottery tickets and win enough to buy the dream fridge we need?” Instead of continuing to wonder, the very next day, using their joint savings, they purchased an entire sealed pack of $20 tickets for $400. Will their plan to buy a brand new fridge for free pan out?
