Simple and Delicious Apricot Jam
Here is an easy way to enjoy the flavor of fresh apricots throughout the year!
Ingredients
2 kg of apricot
2 kg of granulated sugar
1 tsp of sour salt (citric acid)
Preparation
1- In a large pan, gather 2 kg of deseeded and halved apricots, 2 kg of granulated sugar, and kernels of the apricots. Close the lid and set aside overnight.
2- Place the pan over medium heat and leave to boil for 35 minutes.
3- Skim the foam occasionally.
4- 10 minutes before taking the pan off the stove, add 1 tsp of sour salt and mix.
5- Once the jam has reached to desired consistency, remove from the heat and ladle the hot jam into glass jars immediately.
6- Close the lids tightly.
7- We used 500 ml jars and had 3 jars of jam using these ingredients.
8- Enjoy!
