Simple & Beautiful ROSE SHAPED DESSERT (in syrup)

You’ll need
125 g melted butter
120 ml vegetable oil
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup semolina
2 tsp vanilla sugar
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups all purpose flour
For the Syrup
2 ½ cups granulated sugar
600 ml water
Here’s how
1- For the syrup; Combine 2,5 cups of granulated sugar with 600 ml of water and boil for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
2- In a bowl, gather and mix 125 g of melted butter, 120 ml of vegetable oil, ½ cup of plain yogurt and ½ cup of semolina.
3- Add in 2 tsp of vanilla sugar, 2 tsp of baking powder and approximately 2 cups of all purpose flour gradually while kneading.
4- Roll out the dough and cut circles with the help of a small cup.
5- Line 3 of the circles side by side, overlapping each one over the previous circle and then roll the circles up.
6- Cut the roll in half, this will create 2 roses and place them on a parchment lined oven tray.
7- These ingredients make 24 roses.
8- Place hazelnuts in the middle of each rose. You can also use almonds if you wish.
9- Bake for 30 minutes in an oven preheated at 160 °C.
10- Transfer the roses into a smaller serveware and pour the syrup.
11- Delicious rose-shaped dessert is ready to serve.
