Alia Bhatt Birthday Special #Shorts: Beetroot Salad with Yoghurt and Desi Tadka | Healthy Recipes
What we love about #AliaBhatt most is her ability to breathe life into her characters, be it Shanaya in Student Of The Year or in her latest as Gangubai Kathiawadi. We’re celebrating the star’s birthday today by recreating her recipe of a cooling beetroot salad with a yoghurt dressing and a desi tadka for that extra kick of flavour, just like the ones she adds to her films!

Ingredients:
– Beetroot: Shredded ½ cup of boiled beetroot
– Curd: 2 teaspoons
– Salt: a pinch
– Pepper: a pinch
– Chat Masala: a pinch
– Fresh coriander
For Tarka:
– Fresh Curry Leaves:-
– Cumin
– Mustard seeds-
– Heeng powder
Directions:
– Add shredded beetroot to the bowl and mix it with curd
– Now add all the masalas like a pinch of salt and pepper, a bit of chat masala
– Sprinkle fresh coriander
Tarka on the salad:
– Add ½ oil and add cumin, mustard, Heeng, and curry leaves
– When the oil starts crackling up, add it to the yoghurt
