Serves 2-4 People
Ingredients –
500g (1.1lbs) – Cauliflower, Cut Into Florets
700g (1.5lbs) – Potatoes, Washed, Peeled & Diced
1 1/2 tsp (3.5g) – Whole Cumin Seeds
1 – Large Brown (Yellow) Onion, Sliced or Diced
3 – Garlic Cloves, Minced
10g (0.3oz) – Ginger, Minced
2 – Large Tomatoes, Diced
1 – Green Chilli, Split (Optional)
1 tsp (2g) – Ground Turmeric
1 tsp (2g) – Ground Red Chilli (Optional)
1/2 tsp (1g) – Ground Coriander
3/4 tsp (1.5g) – Ground Cumin
3/4 tsp (1.5g) – Ground Garam Masala
1 1/2 tsp (7.5g) – Sea Salt Flakes (Season To Taste)
1/2 – Lemon, Juice
20g (o.7oz) – Fresh Coriander (Cilantro), Roughly Chopped
Storage Instructions –
This can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days and it can also be frozen for up to 6 months.
Reheating Instructions –
Fresh – Place the aloo gobi into a pan or pot and heat over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. It can also be microwaved in short bursts, stirring regularly.
Frozen – Once fully defrosted, follow the same instructions as above.
Serving Ideas –
Serve with naan bread, basmati rice, roti, parantha, and raita.
This aloo gobi is also a fantastic side to most curries.
