Samsung is total garbage. Good luck getting any help or service. My ice maker has been repaired 3 times in the first two years of ownership.
Both are junk
Please be apprised that LG support is extremely poor. They are still having ongoing problems with their compressors. The BBB (better business bureau) has 4 times as many complaints about refrigerators than any other brand. My LG refrigerator lasted only 2.5 years. After 4 attempts they could not fix it. After 6 months of seeking a partial refund, they finally sent email refusing any offer and said the case was closed. I hope yours works-out OK, for everyone else, please consider a GE Profile, Frigidaire, Whirlpool or Bosch because they have an adequate support/maintenance program.
do not buy anything from LG
bought a fridge in July 2021
in september they send a tech to fix it… he failed….a few weeks later he tried again and failed again…now is December and we still have a unpluged broken fridge
