This is a super moist butter cake that is really easy to make. I am using buttermilk in this as buttermilk adds a nice tangy flavor to the cake as well as it helps for a good rise.

INGREDIENTS:
-250g (1 3/4cup+ 1 tsp) All purpose flour
-200g (1 cup) Sugar, granulated
-250g (1 cup+2 tbsp) soften Butter, using salted
-4 large Eggs, room temperature
-80g (1/3cup) Milk (whole milk, full fat)
-1 tsp white Vinegar (can substitute lemon or lime)
-2 tsp Vanilla extract
-1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
-1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
THINGS TO KNOW:
*I am using Butter on this recipe not Margarine. Margarine gives a different taste to the cake as well as it will be less tender.
*I am lining my pan with parchment paper as I am using a darker pan. Darker pans tend to brown the cake quite faster so lining the pan helps to reduce browning the sides of the cake
*I am adding buttermilk to this recipe, as it gives a nice tangy flavor and help for a good rise.
Pan:
8×8 pan, I am lining the pan with parchment paper as I am using a dark pan. As it tends to brown the sides of the cakes bit too fast.If you are using a lighter pan you don’t need to do this. Just line the bottom of the pan.
Bake:
Preheat oven to 350F degrees (180C)
Bake for about 40 minutes, insert a toothpick to see if the cake is baked. If not leave for few more minutes
Storing:
Keep in an air tight container in the refrigerator..
