Chinese Peanut Soup (3 ingredients soup) – Thermal Pot Cooking
A very simple soup with the basic ingredients that you might already have at your home.
1 packet of RM3 peanut – i think about 150gm
10-15 red dates (a handful – mind is small.. if bigger then maybe put lesser)
1 chicken carcass
1 tsp salt
2l of water
1. Blanch and clean the chicken carcass
2. Boil 2l of water using thermal pot
3. Add in all the ingredients (i do rinse my peanut and red dates)
4. Heat up min 10mins (i usually do 30mins)
5. Put it in thermal pot for 6-8hours
6. Enjoy your soup.
You may want to reheat the soup like 8-10hours once for 10mins so that the thermal pot keep the soup hot.
Using thermal pot to cook soup is very easy, safe and save.. as it doesnt need the gas stove to be on or electric to be on so you won’t burnt your pot or scared that something might happen while you were away or sleeping… and it is definitely a big save on gas/electric as cooking soup need a few hours to get the soup to be very flavourful… also it is easy for working mom or those who got small kids like me..where they cling on you the whole time..
