Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wings With Homemade Buffalo Sauce
How to make extremely crispy oven-baked Buffalo/Spicy Chicken Wings. These are so crispy, juicy and bring off the most amazing flavour and aroma. Homemade Buffalo Sauce from scratch is easy to make and the flavours are out of this world. Served with homemade Ranch Sauce these Chicken Wings are a winner for that game day gathering or if your feeling cheeky and want a bowl all to yourself.
Makes – 1kg (2.2lb)
Serves 1-2 People
Ingredients –
For the Chicken –
1kg (2.2lb) – Chicken Drummettes and Wingettes
2 Tbs – Baking Powder (Secret ingredient to achieving extreme crispiness)
1 tsp – Sea Salt (or to your taste)
1/2 tsp – Cracked Black Pepper (or to your taste)
1/2 tsp – Smoked Paprika
1/2 tsp – Cayenne Pepper Powder (or to your spiciness level)
1 tsp – Garlic Powder (Optional)
Buffalo Sauce –
8 (150g) – Long Red Chillies or Cayenne Peppers, Roughly Chopped. (Deseeding is Optional)
1 Clove – Freshly Minced Garlic
3/4 Cup – White Vinegar
2 1/2 Tbs – Unsalted Butter (Use 1 Tbs for more heat)
Salt and Cracked Black Pepper to your taste
