Homemade Leek and Potato Soup at Deep South Texas

Recipe Ingredients:
3 cups chopped leeks
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
2 tablespoons butter
1 lb potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 quart chicken stock
1/4 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped chives for garnish
Drizzle of heavy cream for garnish
