How to make Homemade HAMBURGER BUNS? π

You’ll need
5 cups of all purpose flour
120 g of melted butter
150 ml of warm water
220 ml of warm fresh milk
1 tsp of granulated sugar
20 g of fresh yeast
2 tsp of salt
On top
1 egg
2 tbsp of water
2 tbsp of fresh milk
+
Sesame seeds
Here’s how
1- Combine 20 g of fresh yeast, 1 tsp of granulated sugar, 150 ml of warm water and 220 ml of fresh milk in a bowl.
2- Mix with your hand until the yeast is fully dissolved.
3- Add in 120 g of melted butter, 2 tsp of salt and 5 cups of all purpose flour gradually while kneading.
4- Knead the dough for 10 minutes.
5- Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and set aside for about 20 minutes.
6- Deflate the risen dough gently and take tangerine sized pieces.
7- Roll the pieces into balls and place on an oven tray, remembering to leave space between them.
8. Let them rest for 5 minutes.
9- Gently press down on top of the buns and set aside for another 15-20 minutes.
10- Brush the buns with a mixture of 1 egg, 2 tbsp of water and 2 tbsp of fresh milk.
11- Finally sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 17-20 minutes in an oven preheated at 200 Β°C.
12- Hamburger buns are ready.
13- After cooled, cut the buns in half and prepare your burgers.
14- Enjoy!
