How to Make Waffles in a Sandwich Maker?
Can you make waffles in a sandwich maker? Good news – you certainly can!
You’ll need
200 ml milk
¼ cup granulated sugar
60 ml vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
1 + ¼ cup flour
Here’s how
1- Beat 1 egg in a large bowl with ¼ cup of granulated sugar until fluffy.
2- Stir in 200 ml of milk, 60 ml of vegetable oil, 1 tsp of baking powder, 2 tsp vanilla sugar and 1 + ¼ cup of flour and mix until well combined.
3- Heat your sandwich maker to its highest.
4- Add a few drops of oil and swirl it around.
5- Pour some batter and close the lid.
6- Let it cook for at least 1 minute, then open the lid. Turn the waffles upside down to have those squares. But be very careful not to overcook and make them too crunchy. Continue until all the batter is used up.
7- Spread some chocolate spread onto your waffle while it’s still hot to be able to roll it easily. You can also use hazelnut spread. Cooking time depends on your sandwich maker, that’s why keep checking all the time. And do not press during cooking.
8- Decorate with fresh fruit toppings and nuts.
9- Enjoy!
P.S. You can have 4-5 waffles out of these ingredients.
