Kaju Katli | with few ingredients | Diwali Special | Festive Recipe
Kaju katli also known as kaju barfi, is an Indian dessert similar to a barfi. Kaju means cashew. Barfi is often made by thickening milk with sugar and other ingredients (such as dry fruits and mild spices). Sometimes Kesar kaju katli includes saffron.
Ingredients:-
Take 2 cup Kaju grind into fine powder and sift it.
Now take remaining powder after sifting in the mixer jar and add ¼ cup milk powder and grind and sift it again.
Now add 1 cup sugar and ½ cup water in the pan.
Cook it and add some milk to remove impurities if any.
Make one string chasni.
Now add prepared kaju powder in the chasni.
Now add 1 tsp ghee and 2 green cardamom powder and it well.
Now cook until the mixture starts leaving the pan.
Now take it on the butter paper and cool it down slightly.
Make a ball and roll it into a thin sheet.
Now garnish it with silver leaf (optional).
Now cut it into diamond shape.
