Ingredients –
Mixed Berry Compote –
500g (1.1lbs) – Frozen Mixed Berries (Strawberry, Raspberry & Blueberry)
1/3 Cup (80g) – Caster Sugar (Fine Sugar)
1 – Lemon, Juiced
Pastry –
2 – Sheets of Puff Pastry, Defrosted
1 – Large Free Range Egg, Beaten
Cinnamon Sugar –
1/2 Cup (120g) – Caster Sugar (Fine Sugar)
1 1/2 Tbsp (15g) – Ground Cinnamon
To Serve –
Ice Cream

Recipe Notes –
Mixed Berry Compote –
The mixed berry compote can be made up to 1 week in advance (Stored in the fridge) and it can also be frozen for up to 12 months.
Turnovers –
Once the turnovers have been folded and assembled they can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and frozen in an airtight container for up to 6 months. They can be cooked from frozen but allow 20 minutes in the oven (200.c-395.f). They can also be fried from frozen and allow an extra minute or two to get the required golden-brown crust.
