Orange Cake Recipe

Orange cake
Ingredients:
4 eggs
250g sugar
200g flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 teaspoons of vanilla essence
Juice of one orange
Zest of one orange
1 dl sunflower oil
Pastry cream
Toasted sliced almonds
Method:
Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks, beat the egg yolks with the sugar, add the juice and zest of the orange, add aroma of vanilla. Then put the flour with the baking powder and oil, beat some more.
Beat the egg whites and add into the remaining mixture, preheat the oven mark 170 °c , let it cook for about 30 minutes.
Cover the cake with pastry cream and sprinkle with toasted sliced almonds.
