Oven Baked MEATBALLS AND POTATOES

Ingredients

2-3 potatoes
2-3 long green peppers
2 tomatoes
Vegetable oil
1 ½ Tbsp of tomato paste

Ingredients for the meatballs

500 g of minced beef
1 onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 egg
½ cup breadcrumbs
Salt
Pepper
Red pepper flakes

Preparation

1- For the meatballs; grind 1 onion, 2-3 cloves of garlic and 1 egg with a food processor.
2- Combine 500 g of minced beef with onion mixture, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Knead thoroughly.
3- Take pieces from the mince mixture and shape ovals or balls.
4- Lightly fry the meatballs and wedges of 2-3 potatoes
5- Place them in an ovenware and drizzle 300 ml of water and 1 ½ tbsp of tomato paste mixture over the potatoes and meatballs.
6- Decorate with some tomatoes and long green peppers and bake for 25 minutes in an oven pre-heated at 180 °C.
7- Serve with rice. Enjoy!
