Using egg whites makes easier to bring colors to a cake. If you add egg yolks the cake will become yellow, which will be harder to bring different colors(unless using gel food coloring) I am also adding Almond essence without using vanilla to make the cake white..

INGREDIENTS:
1 Cup (230g) Butter-,using salted (Soften Room temperature)
1 Cup (200g) Sugar
2 3/4 Cups (360g) All purpose Flour
1 Cup Milk (250ml) – using whole milk/full fat
5 Large egg whites
1 Tsp Almond essence
1 Tsp Salt
4 Tsps Baking Powder
Blue and Pink food coloring
FROSTING:
1 Cup 2 Tbsp (250g) Butter- room temperature soften
3 5/8 Cups (400g) Powdered/Confectioners sugar
1/2 Tsp Vanilla essence
2 Tbsps Milk
Two 8″ Pans, greased with a parchment on the bottom
2 Nozzles to pipe
Icing bags to pipe icing/frosting
Bake for 30-35 minutes in 350F degrees, Until a skewer inserted comes out clean
