Texas Vegetable Garden in April
It is mid April and the Deep South Texas garden is at it’s peak. The drip irrigation in the raised beds is doing great. Tomatoes are growing larger and will turn red soon. I have installed some bird netting and shade cloth to provide the tomatoes with a little protection. the onions are growing bulbs and I picked my first cucumber this year. We have been digging Red Pontiac potatoes this past week, and they are delicious.
