The Best Integrated Refrigerators for 2021 – Ratings / Reviews / Prices
Integrated refrigeration has been a hot trend in kitchens for years. It’s an all refrigerator, all freezer, or combination measuring less than 24 inches in depth to fit within your 24-inch cabinet. In this video, you will learn the best brands, a few tricks to turn any refrigerator into an integrated flush look, and industry terminology. This video will focus on paneled models, in the end you will know what is best for you.
What is the Difference Between Counter Depth and Integrated Refrigerators?
Both are considered built in refrigerators and can accept panels. The main differences are in the width and depth, although integrated refrigerators can be shorter in some cases.
Integrated are smaller and are mostly designed to be purchased in sets of two. Typically either all freezer or all refrigerator columns.
Counter depth also called shallow depth is deeper for more total cubic footage than an integrated refrigerator. It’s also less expensive per cubic foot than an integrated unit.
You can buy them as regular counter depth, so they look like regular, shallower refrigerators, but these are all stainless except for one model.
Pro counter depths look like restaurant refrigerators with the compressors on the top and are taller at 84 versus 69-72 for a regular refrigerator. Their sizes are the more standard 30,36, as well as larger 42, and 48 inches.
Integrated Depth is designed to be flush to your 24-inch cabinet.

Great video as always. Very informative and helpful. Thank you!
I do have a question regarding GE Monogram. You guys never mention them in your videos. Is it because you don’t carry them in your stores or that you don’t consider them at par with the other manufacturer mentioned in this video?
Can you also perhaps do direct head to head reviews between ranges, refrigerators from companies like wolf/subzero and thermador etc.
Thanks
I was surprised the Miele Mastercol wasn’t mentioned – do u find it to be problematic?
Any thoughts on fhiaba? Seems like a good competitive choice to thermador and sub zero
If you have a counter depth and put it in a 27 inch cabinet, how can you open the doors?
