Ingredients:
1 &1/2 cup Wheat Flour
1 cup chopped Fenugreek Leaves (Methi Leaves)
1/2 Lemon
1/2 tsp Coriander & Cumin seed powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
3 tsp Sugar
1 &1/2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
1 tsp Ginger Chilli Paste
1/4 tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
Salt
1 & 1/2 tbsp Curd (Yogurt)
Method:
– In a bowl, take the wheat flour, coriander cumin seed powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, salt, sugar, ginger chilli paste, lemon juice, oil, fenugreek leaves, curd and mix everything well.
– Add water occasionally and make a soft dough.
– Take a portion of the dough, make a small ball and coat it with some dry wheat flour.
– Sprinkle some wheat flour on the rolling board and start rolling with the help of a rolling pin.
– Place the roti on a hot pan to roast it in medium flame for about 40 seconds on both the sides.
– When the roti is half cooked, flip it and brush some oil on either side of the roti and cook it till its properly roasted and fried.
