Turkish Cold Yogurt Soup With Two Ingredients
Turkish Cold Yogurt soup Ayran Aşı is very healthy, easy to make traditional soup we usually make in summer. It has only two main ingredients but it is so versatile many additions would go well and make it richer.
The wheat grain and yogurt makes it a healthy choice and i think it is good for diet too!
Ingredients for Turkish Cold Yogurt Soup: (For about 10 serving)
1+1/2 cups wheat grain (preferably soaked overnight but not necessary)
5 cups water
To make 1 serving
2 heaped tbsp cooked wheat grain
3-4 tbsp plain yogurt
salt, cold water
To garnish dried mint (optional)
What else you can add?
Cooked chickpeas, green lentils, corns, fresh chopped herbs like mint, purslane , dill and more as you wish
