Ube Custard Cake
Ube Custard Cake is a perfect combination of soft chiffon ube cake and creamy leche flan.
Here’s what you’ll need:
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
6 egg yolks
1 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup cream (whipping cream or all purpose cream)
1/4 cup fresh milk or evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
4 egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp concentrated ube flavoring
3 drops of purple food coloring
1 cup all purpose flour
1 and a 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 egg whites
1/2 tsp vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
Bake at 180°Celsius for 55 to 65 minutes. Size of the pan is 8 inches.
