I HATED my counter depth refrigerator, but the way the kitchen was configured it made the most sense. Why on earth aren’t cabinets standard to the size of the fridge?!
Well, when your off grid and only need a small fridge but want the full size look…counter depth refrigerator….
I bought a counter depth refrigerator after continuously throwing out food that was left in the back and never seen, so went bad. As a result of the less deep fridge, I throw away much less food because it doesn't get forgotten or un-noticed. There are times I would like more space, but over all there is a lot less food waste as a result.
