Yule Log Cake Ingredients

🍒SPONGE:
-5 Large eggs, room temperature
-65g (1/2 cup) All purpose flour
-30g (1/4 cup) Cocoa powder
-100g (1/2cup) Sugar
-60ml (4 tbsp) of Milk, room temperature regular milk
-30ml (2 tbsp) of Vegetable oil
-1 tsp Vanilla extract

🍒FILLING/FROSTING:
-40g Semi sweet chocolate
-236ml (1 cup) Heavy whipping cream

🍒GANACHE:
-228g (8oz) Chocolate, I used 171g (6oz) Semi Sweet chocolate & 57g (2oz) 90% Dark chocolate
-236ml (1 cup) Heavy whipping cream
🔴🔴You can leave ganache on a counter top for about 3-4 hours to get the right consistency. If you want to speed up the process keep in the fridge for about 20-25 minutes, BUT you HAVE to take it out every 5 minutes and give it a stir. This SHOULD be done. Don’t leave ganache for 20 minutes straight in the fridge it will solidify🔴🔴

🍒BAKE:
Preheat oven to 350F/180C for about 20 minutes & bake for 15 minutes until a skewer inserted comes out clean

🍒TOOLS:
-Baking pan 13×8, line & grease the pan. My cake got little stuck to the cake as I greased it an hour before I made the cake, so my butter was dried..If you grease the parchment well it won’t stick too much..

🍒DECORATION:
-Meringue Mushrooms
-Few Rosemary
-Cocoa powder
-Icing sugar
