Super soft & moist Chocolate cake | cup measurements | Best Cake Ever
Hands down my favorite thing in the world! Chocolate cake! I have tried and tested so many variations of chocolate cake and this is one of the best I could come up with. I have used buttermilk, oil, and butter to give this cake a great texture, moisture, and taste. You can dress this up with frosting if you like, but even just as is you will love it. INGREDIENTS:
-80ml (1/3 cup) milk, room temperature
-5ml (1 tsp) white distilled vinegar
-120g (1 cup+1/2 tbsp) butter, salted or unsalted, room temperature
-230g (1+1/8cup) sugar, granulated
-3 large eggs (180g)
-60ml (1/4cup) vegetable oil, any oil that doesn’t have a strong smell or taste
-1g (1/2tsp) instant coffee, espresso powder
-150g (1 +1/4cup) all-purpose flour
-30g (1/4cup) Cocoa powder
-4g (1 tsp) Baking powder
-2 g (1/2 tsp) Baking soda
-1.5g (1/4tsp) Salt
PAN:
-I am using an 8×8 square pan. You can also use an 8 inch round pan for this.
BAKE:
-Preheat oven to 350F (180C) degrees for about 20 minutes and bake for about 28-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
