Classic BECHAMEL SAUCE (White Sauce)
This is the easiest way of making a Béchamel (White) Sauce which is one of the French Mother sauces and used most famously in lasagne.

Ingredients

2 tbsp of butter
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 1/2 tbsp of all purpose flour
300 ml of fresh milk
Salt, pepper

Preparation

1- Melt 2 tbsp of butter with 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a medium sized pan.
2- Brown 1 1/2 tbsp of all purpose flour.
3- Add in 300 ml of fresh milk while whisking vigorously to prevent lumping.
4- Season with salt and pepper.
5- Cook by whisking until boils and thickens.
6- Bechamel sauce is ready to use.
7- Enjoy!
