Grilled Chicken Salad Recipe:
Grilled Chicken:
Chicken Breast – 2 nos
Olive Oil – 1 tsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Black Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
Salad:
Tomato (diced) – 2 nos
Cucumber (diced) – 2 nos
Onion (diced) – 2 nos
Lettuce – 1 Cup
Bell Peppers (diced) – 1 no.
Cheese cubes (chopped) – 2 nos
Almonds (chopped) (optional) – 10 nos
Dressing:
Olive Oil – 2 tbsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
Dried Oregano – ¼ tsp
Salt – A Pinch
Black Pepper Powder – A Pinch
Cooking Instructions:
1. Marinate the chicken with oil, salt, pepper, and soya sauce. Allow it to rest for at least 10 minutes.
2. Prepare the dressing by combining the ingredients and set aside.
3. Heat a grill pan. Place the chicken breast and cook on high heat for 1 minute on each side and cook for 6 mins on a low flame.
4. Rest the chicken for 5-10 mins on a chopping board and cut into cubes.
5. For the salad, combine all the ingredients in a bowl, add a little dressing as needed.
6. Serve the salad in a bowl along with the chicken, and serve the remaining dressing on the side.
Cooking Tips:
1. If you are not eating the salad immediately or packing it for later, do not mix the dressing along with the salad. Add the dressing ingredients together in a small container and shake well to combine. Add it to the salad right before consumption.
