INGREDIENTS
- For Filet Mignon Steaks:
- 2 medium to large sized filet mignon steaks
- 2 to 3 tbsp (30 ml) extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp coarse sea salt flakes
- Ground black pepper
- Cooking oil, for frying
- 2 tbsp (28 g) butter
- 4 to 8 garlic cloves
- Small bunch fresh thyme
- 1 to 2 tbsp (15-30 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup (60 ml) red wine, such as Cabernet
- For Red Wine Mushrooms:
- 12 to 14 white mushrooms, thickly sliced
- 2 tbsp (28 g) butter
- 1 medium shallot, diced
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp (2 g) fresh thyme
- 1 cup (240 ml) red wine, such as Cabernet
- For Garlic Parmesan Potatoes:
- 2 ½ lbs (1.1 kg) Russet potatoes
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups (475 ml) vegetable broth
- ½ cup (113 g) salted butter, at room temp
- ½ cup (120 ml) whipping cream or whole milk
- Salt, to taste
- 1 cup (90 g) parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp (2 g) fresh chopped parsley
