From Lucie #shorts
If I could be reincarnated as any kind of food, I’d love to be one of Lucie’s mini cakes. She’s Lucie. She came to my place the other day and didn’t stop dancing from the moment she came in. Do you know anyone like that? If the answer is yes, then don’t let them go… people who dance are in danger of extinction since it became normal to watch the news so much.
What was I saying? Ahh… here’s Lucie dancing again.
We became virtual friends and I invited her to cook together. Believe it or not, Mandoka has never felt so unskilled in the kitchen. It’s no secret that baking is not my thing, if you watch my videos you’ll know that my cakes always end up breaking. But Lucie did it so easily that she gave me the inspiration to continue decorating: a couple pistachios here, dried fruits there. It’s almost like doing an abstract painting.
And although you’re used to me always sharing recipes on my blog, this time I’m gonna have to let you down. Because if you’d like to try one, you’ll have to go to her bakery in lower Manhattan. The good news: it’s almost open. The bad: they’re so adorable you won’t even want to eat them.
