Here’s what you’ll need:
DOUGH:
1 cup milk (250ml) (room temp)
1 egg
2&¼ tsp instant yeast
¼ cup sugar (50g)
3 ¼ cups all purpose flour (406g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
¼ cup unsalted butter (50g)
GARLIC BUTTER SCALLIONS SPREAD
1/2 cup softened butter
2 tbsp chopped garlic
3 tbsp scallions
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
EGGWASH: 1egg+2 tbsp milk
Please note:
1. If baking this with conventional oven, please bake at 180°C(350°F) for 25 minutes. But if baking this with convection oven, please bake at 180°C(350°F) for 20-22 minutes.
2. if using active dry yeast, it requires a lukewarm milk to bloom with until foamy or at least 10 minutes.
