How To Make Grand Yema Loaf Cake with the rich and creamy no-drip yema frosting?
Here’s what you’ll need:
4 egg yolks
1/3 cup granulated white sugar
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup water
1 cup all purpose flour
1 and half tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 egg whites
1/2 tsp vinegar or cream of tartar or lemon juice
1/3 cup granulated white sugar
Yema No-Drip Frosting:
5 egg yolks
1 can condensed milk (395grams)
1/4cup evap milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp salted butter
Topping:
Grated cheese
whipped cream (optional)
Loaf pan size is 7×3 inches.
Notes:
1. This yema frosting is a no-drip frosting. Spreadable and easy to cover your cake with it. Not messy and runny.
2. Constantly stir the yema frosting, never leave it unattended for it will burn fast.
3. If you don’t want to use whipped cream for topping, you can use grated cheese only.
4. This recipe can be baked too at 180°C for 25-30 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. Baking time may also vary depending on your oven specification.
