Homemade Chicken Shawarma
How to make an authentic Chicken Shawarma at home.
Here’s what you’ll need:
MARINADE:
1/2 cup yogurt (120g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
1 tsp white pepper powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cardamon powder
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cayenne powder
2 tbsp oil (30ml)
2 tbsp lemon juice (30ml)
500grams Chicken Breast
FLATBREAD Recipe – You can use store bought if you want.
1 cup warm water (250ml)
1 tbsp sugar (15g)
1/2 tsp instant yeast (3g)
3 cups all purpose flour (375g)
3 tbsp oil (45ml)
1/2 tsp salt (3g)
GARLIC MAYO
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
Iceberg lettuce
sliced tomatoes
french fries
