HOW TO MAKE EMPANADA- NO BAKE | SAVOR EASY
Empanada is a type of pastry baked or fried. The word comes from a “Spanish” term “empanar” which means “enbreaded” that is wrapped or coated with bread. Empanadas are made by folding a dough over a struffing or filling that consists of a meat.
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup cold butter
1/3 cup ice cold water
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup minced garlic
500 grams minced chicken
3 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 cup diced carrot
1 cup diced potato
1/2 cup bell pepper (optional, i omit the peas)
1/2 cup raisins
