HOW TO MAKE PONCHE NAVIDEÑO | MEXICAN CHRISTMAS PUNCH |
This recipe is an easy traditional Mexican Christmas punch which you can enjoy with “piquete” such as tequila, rum & brandy. Ponche is typically served in Mexico on Noche buena (Christmas eve) and during the posadas, Ponche is always kept hot & ready for guests. Hope you guys enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
13 cups of water, divided
2 cinnamon sticks
1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers (jamaica)
4 – 6 tamarindo
2 sugar cane (piloncillo)
2 apples , chopped
1 pear
7 guava
whole sugar cane, fresh or frozen (caña)
4 – 5 tejocotes (fresh, jar or frozen)
pitted prunes (7oz)
4 whole cloves
pecans
1/2 – 1 cup of sugar or to taste

~OPTIONAL: Rum, brandy, or tequila, to taste
