We’ve bought so much into this idea of a healthier way of cooking, that we have contributed to a 50% increase in sales for ONE leading air fryer brand in Singapore just between 2019 and 2020. Globally, the air fryer market is expected to reach US$1.2b by 2026.

But how much healthier is air frying, compared to deep frying, really? And are there adverse effects, like increased cancer risk, with the use of this cooking technology? Talking Point host, Sharda Harrison conducts her own tests in search of answers.
