Mango Yema Cake | Bake Like A Pro At Home
So my yema cake series continues. Here it is the yummy Mango Yema Cake. Here’s the recipe that is easy to follow and bake like a pro.

Here’s what you’ll need:
4 egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil
1/3 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1& 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

4 egg whites
1/2 tsp vinegar or cream of tartar or lemon juice
1/3 cup granulated white sugar

Mango Yema Frosting:
5 egg yolks
1 can condensed milk (397 grams)
1/4 cup fresh milk or evap milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup mango cubes (1/2 cup when pureed)
2 tbsp butter

For the whipped cream:
100 ml whipping cream or all purpose cream (chilled overnight)
1 tbsp icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla

For the chocolate slabs:
100 grams chocolate
1 tablespoon butter or vegetable shortening
(melted in the microwave for 30 seconds or so)

Size of loaf pan used in this recipe is 7×3.5 inches.

Notes:
1. This recipe can be baked too at 180°C for 25-30 minutes or when the toothpick comes out clean when inserted. Baking time may vary depending on your oven specification.
2. You can double this recipe if you want to.
3. If whipping cream is not available, you can also use buttercream for piping rosettes for topping. Please see my buttercream recipe here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usse_…
Or you can use any preferred buttercream recipe. 🙂
