Hello lovelies,
today’s recipe is a simple, airy sponge cake Pan di Spagna which is an Italian Sponge Cake. It’s made with only 4 ingredients: eggs, sugar, cocoa powder and flour…no baking powder, no butter, no oil, and no dairy! hope you all like this video.
Ingredients for 15 cm (6 inches) pan:
3 extra eggs or 4 medium – 200g in total
Plain flour or cake flour- 75 grams ( 2/3 cup )
Cocoa powder – 15 g (2.5 tablespoons)
Sugar – 90 grams (1/3 cup + 2 tablespoons)
**CAN BE flavored with vanilla or lemon zest.
