Recipe:
For the syrup: 1 cup of granulated sugar + 3/4 cup water
For the Cake:
3 eggs
3/4 cups granulated sugar (150g)
1/3 cup vegetable oil (80ml)
1/2 cup orange juice (125ml)
1 tsp Vanilla
1-2 Tbsp Orange zest (depends on how strong you like the flavour)
1 1/2 cups cake flour (227g) (Make at home: )
2 tsp Baking powder
Pinch of salt
