Skirt Steak with chimichurri. Skirt steak is thin, long cut of meat with visible grain. Skirt steak is best cooked on high heat for short time. In Argentina and Brazil it’s called churrasco steak. And today I will show you how to cook skirt steak with chimichurri sauce or churrasco steak at home.
Ingredients:
2lb skirt steak
½ onion
¾ fresh jalapeno
3 garlic cloves
½ cup oil
Chimichurri Sauce:
1/3 bunch cilantro
1/3 bunch parsley
2 cloves garlic
½ shallot
½ lemon zest
¼ lemon juice
1tsp sugar
1 tsp dry oregano
1/8 tsp chili flakes
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
½ cup olive oil
¼ fresh jalapeno
