Ube Macapuno Cake
What I love the most with Ube Macapuno cake is it’s decadence and uniqueness. One of the best cake I’ve made so far. Here are the ingredients:
Sponge Cake:
7 eggwhites
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cups granulated sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
7 egg yolks
1/2 cup oil
2/3 cups milk
1 tbsp concentrated ube flavoring
1/2 cup grated fresh ube
Frosting:
500ml whipping cream
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp concentrated ube flavoring
