Recipe: (Makes 1 thick 8” pan OR 3 x 6” pans)
4 Eggs
3 Cups Flour (All purpose or cake flour) (465g)
1 1/2 Cups Granulated sugar (330g)
1 1/4 Cup Milk (310ml)
2 tsp Baking powder (8g)
1/2 Cup Vegetable oil (125ml)
1 tsp Vanilla
Pinch of salt
3 Tbsp cocoa powder + 3 Tbsp Milk
⚠️ NOTE: I really advise you to use baking strips (or damp towels). They help the cake bake more evenly, no burnt edges, and no domes. The strips will not burn in the oven as long as they are not touching the heat source (fire or resistance). If you have any questions leave me a comment below, i’d be happy to help!
