Homemade Ciabatta Bread for Beginners
Today I am making homemade Ciabatta bread for beginners. This is a very wet dough which can be hard to work with. I will show you the easy way to get perfect results. Follow these step by step directions and be delighted. The square dish I used in the video is 8 inches by 8 inches by 2.5 inches deep. I baked this bread for 30 minutes at 450 F. Poolish
3/4 cup Bread flour – 120 grams
1/2 cup water – 120 ml or 120 grams
1/8 tsp instant yeast
Dough
3/4 cup water – 180 ml or 180 grams
1/4 tsp instant yeast
1 1/2 cups Bread flour – 240 grams
1 tsp salt
oil 8 in. by 8 in. dish with 1 tsp olive oil
Bake at 450 F for 30 minutes
pour 1 cup water into heavy preheated cast pan when loaves go into the oven
